Overview
Since commencing mining operations in 2011 following the acquisition of nickel ore IUPs (Mining Business Licenses) in North Morowali Regency (Central Sulawesi) and North Konawe Regency (Southeast Sulawesi) between 2008 and 2012, PT Central Omega Resources Tbk has recorded a total nickel ore production of 14 million wmt. The company further expanded its business line by acquiring limestone mines in North Morowali in 2022 and 2023, which successfully entered production in 2024. Driven by continuous exploration to boost its reserves, as of December 31, 2024, across all its mining concessions, the company has successfully logged total nickel ore resources of 183 million wmt with reserves reaching 93 million wmt.
